MSHL arrives in Montreal in 2009 after a decade of graffiti. Self-taught, he opens his painting to abstract, discovers the world of stopmotion and other gif as well as that of glitch. So the videos use his painting and vice versa. Since 2017, he has been an art educator at MU and continues his pictorial experiments through exercises with children.
