MURAL unveils its programming for a promising 5th edition

The MURAL public art festival is celebrating its 5th year with an impressive program to match, bringing you an extraordinary lineup. From June 8 to 18th, you will not only be able to watch the creation of live murals, but also engage in a wide range of activities, including art exhibitions, musical performances, conferences, temporary installations, and the MURAL Art Fair – there will be something to satisfy everyone!
Participating in the festival are artists from seven different countries, who will come to transform the walls of the city with their finest creations. You will be able to discover the talents of muralists such as:

- Ruben Sanchez
- Nuria Mora
- Smitheone
- Onur.
A wide range of Canadian artists will also take part in the event:

- Scribe csx
- Kevin Ledo
- Monosourcil
- Mort
- Aydin Matlabi
- Miss Me
To top it off, artist Aaron Li-Hill will produce a major installation that will decorate Saint-Laurent Boulevard throughout the summer season.
More than 80 striking artworks will be distributed from the Quartier des spectacles to the Mile-End. In addition, for this 5th edition, MURAL enhances its agenda by presenting some of its programming in Old Montréal. Saint-Paul Street will be transformed into a pedestrian site and host the 3rd edition of the MURAL Art Fair (FAM) at Bonsecours Market. Several artistic installations, temporary murals and exclusive events will also be available on site.
The majority of activities will take place on Saint-Laurent Boulevard, the flagship venue for the event. It will be turned into a pedestrian walkway extending from Sherbrooke Street to Mont-Royal.
Because the festival wishes to offer you even more, all the outdoor shows will be free and take place in a main redeveloped area of Saint-Laurent Boulevard. This means that you can attend events in the parking lot facing the MURAL offices, and also enjoy an open space for musical performances and beverage consumption between Milton and Prince-Arthur. This same site will also host the Grill Saint-Laurent culinary event from June 14 to 16th as well as four major musical events that will be unveiled to you in the near future, so stay tuned on our social networks!
