Born in Madrid in 1979, Ruben Sanchez spent part of his life in Dubai before returning to live in Spain. Self-taught, he has a distinctive and recognizable graphic style that resonates throughout his projects. He works acrylic and aerosol on canvas, wood or wall. He also creates digital illustrations, animations and videos reflecting his passion and commitment to graffiti and skateboarding. Influenced by the Spanish urban culture, he is attracted by the colors, shapes and design that covers the walls of cities. He also draws inspiration from the art pieces of Spanish masters such as Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró.
