Ola Volo is a Canadian illustrator from Kazakhstan who draws inspiration from the history, multiculturalism and folklore of her country of origin. Her complex work brings together animals, architecture and nature to articulate diverse stories, rich in symbols and elaborate forms. Ola creates sinuous tales that lovingly transcribe the subtleties of human nature while celebrating the little surprises of everyday life. His art is widely recognized for his inventiveness and imaginative gesture. His dreamlike characters are part of an imaginative and dynamic environment. In addition to responding to orders from a wide range of international clients, Ola Volo also finds time to work on various projects for writing and exhibiting gallery works.
