Zéh Palito

Zéh Palito

Medium(s): Mural
Country: Brazil

Zéh Palito is a Brazilian artist and storyteller whose vibrant, colorful works explore contemporary African diasporic life, cultural pride, and social justice. Adorned with gold, tropical fruits, flowers, and shells, his figures radiate confidence and self-assurance, standing as powerful symbols of identity and heritage.

While joyful and saturated with color, his art also addresses deeper themes—trauma, marginalization, and the political realities of minority groups—inviting meaningful dialogue. Drawing inspiration from Brazilian, African, and American cultures, Palito works across scales, from large-scale murals to intimate canvas pieces, always centering underrepresented voices and harmony with nature.

Through lush imagery of plants, animals, cars, and domestic spaces, he imagines utopian futures rooted in respect, joy, and connection. To date, Zéh Palito has created murals in over 30 countries across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Europe.
