Satr lives and works in Guangzhou and has been involved in street art since 2013. Her original technique of using spray paint atomization to create unique contours and shapes gives the animals in her paintings a dynamic, almost smoky quality. She extensively experiments with transparent graffiti spray paint, setting her work apart from traditional Chinese painting styles. In addition to atomization and transparency, she also incorporates ink and wash, achieving a balance between the boldness of Western graffiti and the delicate brush strokes of Eastern painting. There is a strong Oriental undertone in her work, which she acknowledges through the use of ancient seal-engraved signatures.
