Jonathan Bergeron is an artist from Belœil, on the south shore of Montreal. From an early age, he was influenced by the rebellious culture of the West Coast of the United States: punk, rock, skateboarding and especially graffiti were part of his daily life.
Jonathan made himself a reputation in the Montreal graffiti scene by creating murals for numerous merchants throughout the city. He mainly illustrates imaginary scenes including animals and skulls. His characters are both frightening and poetic, thanks to the presence of natural figurative elements that soften the overall composition. The colors that he uses, in great number, also underline the fantastic side of his illustrations.
