Chloé Biocca

Chloé Biocca is a well-traveled artist, illustrator, designer and art director from Montréal, Québec. Her illustrative work is defined by its anthropomorphic figures, surrealist compositions and abstracted nature, inviting the viewers into subconscious interpretation. Her illustrations bridge notions of embodiment, gender fluidity, collective subconscious, spirituality and nature.
Her visual identities are characterized by their comprehensive and conceptual illustrative systems.

Over the years, Chloé has been called both for her abilities as an illustrator and art director, working with clients from Montréal all the way to Brazil, Holland, Switzerland, Australia and the United States. Some clients include Cards Against Humanity, Boréale, Gia, Bloco Tarado Ni Vocè (São Paulo), Archipelago Festival (Geneva), Wedge Studio, Le Séisme, National School of Theater, LaCentrale Galerie Powerhouse and many more.

In addition, her background as a musician blossomed into beautiful collaborations with many musical artists/labels, including Hiatus Kaiyote (Brainfeed Records), DJ Koozebane (L.A.), Barry Paquin Roberge (Costume Records), CISM radio, and with music festivals, re-branding festivals Frimat (Val d’Or), Taverne Tour (Montréal) and Bodega (Amsterdam).

Chloé’s works have been highlighted in 2023’s World Illustration Awards (London), Cargo, D&AD Awards (London), the Michèle Lemieux Illustration Bursary (1st Prize, both 2019 and 2020), and her work were exhibited both in McCord Museum (M. Choko Bursary, 3rd Prize, 2018), and Montreal City Hall (Nos Luttes, Nos Victoires Exhibition, 2018).
