Aydin Matlabi & Miss Me – Vision Mondiale

Mural

Native country: Canada

Aydin Matlabi has worked in many countries struggling for freedom, he is willing to risk everything to create stories and stories to give visibility to human rights. In
working on his humanitarian missions and fighting for a good cause, Aydin Matlabi has been arrested more than once. As an artist, his main goal is to create art that helps repressed communities and give them a voice. Aydin came to Canada as a refugee when he was a child and was raised alongside the gangs. Living and seeing violence has become a norm and a fascination for him. His art highlights human struggles, exposes them to everyone’s vision and aspires to create hope.

MissMe’s style is explosive and appealing, but it is the amplification of marginalized voices that is retained in her brilliant and powerful works. This activist and feminist is one of the most recognized outlaw artists in North America, MissMe’s creations draw attention to a sharp view, exploring her own struggles with race, gender, society and class while preserving the icons of the past.
